How llong can the offense hold the ball. I guess I'm asking is there a clock involved with each posession. Supportin my hoos but have no idea wht I'm watchin
There is no shot clock but the offense can't just hold the ball. The offense can be called for stalling if they just sit back and don't try and push the offense.

How many men on the field and why some have long sticks and short sticks. Is it the player choice. The best player normally play what position
long stick is defense, to extend their reach i think. shorter is for attackers for control over the shot most likely, as for best player the guys who score the goals are usually looked at as the best in hockey so its probably the same in lacrosse, but defending and goal tending is an art in itself. (never played though so i may be wrong)
