  • Let's hope there will be a good sized crowd on hand for this years game. It would be nice to have Scott Stadium full of noise and energy for a spring game. How many do you think will be there this Saturday?

I've seen us have way more than that in the past and I think the excitement is up some now so I'm going to guess the bottom sec is full between the 20's and sprinkling aroung elsewhere giving us at least 5,000+. GO HOOS.

  • We just had 2000 in Richmond for a practice, we better be able to get several thousand to the spring game!

I will take the over for $100, Alex. (Poor Jeopardy reference). With home baseball and other activities bring people into town, the crowd will surpass 2K

Eager to see attendance numbers, as well. The big plus of moving practice to the big three population centers around the commonwealth is it raises the program's brand, offers the fans/recruits in those areas easier access to view the team/coaches, etc. However, the motivation of some fans may be lower to travel to C'ville for the spring game, especially the longer drives from Hampton Roads and the DC metro.
