Okay, elimination game starts shortly...
Who takes the mound for the Hoos? Silverstein? Maybe Sugar Shane Halley?
I love these double-elimination regionals. Really gets the blood boiling when you've got a loss and have to fight to survive. I doubt we have the arms to win three straight games from this point, but we'll see what Johnny Wholestaff has to offer.

Nick Howard entered the game middle of the 4th inning to replace Shane Halley. Nick's had some really good, and some really bad outings this season. We need some GOOD innings from him here, to keep a lid on things and give us a chance to claw back.

I still cant get over that first game......and obviously that game is having an effect on us a bit here now....we have shook off plenty this year, but it's tough on us right now, kinda like me trying to shake off that first game we shouldve won....

No downvote from me, but I'm not sure I agree with you. Kline wasn't spectacular against Army. No guarantee he would have made a difference against Appy, and no guarantee we beat the Black Knights with a different starter on the mound.
The bottom line here is that we simply haven't gotten enough from our starting pitchers today, and two of our key hitters - Jared King and Derek Fisher - have not shown up.

I understand but if we can not beat the black knights with our 2 or 3 we should not be a 1 seed. Lets look back when did we pitch Hultzen last year? Bottom line is BOC got more than expected out of this club. The only pitcher we have is Kline

I would go so far as to say that we had zero really good starting pitchers at this point in the season. Lewicki was the only one with some real solid momentum.
The 1-seed was earned by the success we enjoyed this season, not because of how good a team we had once the postseason started.
