I don't think you can blindly say pick a QB and go with him no matter what. The goal is to win football games and I think realistically we have 3 QBs that can win games. This isn't a bad problem to have. Would everyone rather have only 1 QB possibility? I think the issue is what Jamie points out that Lambert and Watford are two different QBs. If they were similar the competition would be easier, but the question is what style do you want to run. So my opinion is you pick a style you want to run and pick a QB that fits that best and you tailor the offense further to that one guy. I think our style of offense will be the most interesting thing of the offseason.
