OT: The last 2.5 hours ...

Well, I just returned from the emergency room. I'm not writing this for any reason other than sharing an experience that is sounds so funny on the surface that I wish you guys were there to see the reaction from the doctors ...
Emergency Room Desk (ERD): What is the nature of your visit?
Me: An eye injury. There is blood coming from my eye ball.
ERD: How did this happen?
Me: I was shot in the face by Captain America's Sheild. Well, not the shield itself, but a disk that it shot at me.
ERD: Interesting. Would you care for a psych evaluation as well or do you want to explain further?
Me: Umm. Sorry, I was shot in the face by rubber disk that is mechanically launched from children's toy that happens to be Captain America's shield. (laughing)
ERD: That's much cooler than being punched in the face.
Me: Especially when the perp was an 11-year old girl.
So there you have it folks, I have a cut on the surface of my eye, it's just about swollen shut, and an appointment with an eye specialist.
And the weapon of eye destruction is linked below. Parents, or at least ones that love vision is both eyes, do not buy this for your children ...

Having two kids of my own, both boys now in college, I can relate.

Now if it had someone else's 11 year old daughter had done the dastardly dead, would you have made her and her parents do the perp walk in front of the flashing cameras? Is psych evaluation part of the medical coverage plan at 247? You got blindsided like a replay from the Indiana game!
