OT: About to start dating a Bama fan (need advice)

She wants to take me to an Alabama game to attempt to try to sway me into being a fan haha. I hate the SEC as much as the next guy so should I fight this or just go along with it?

Absolutely go to the games(s). And take some hankies with you. I have been to a few games in Tuiscaloosa, and the sight of watching these 300 pound bruisers in the stands shaking their itty-bitty pom-poms after every play will surely bring a tear to your eye..

If you like UVA football games, you'll love Bama games.
There's nothing wrong with UVA games, but Bama has a similar looking student population and they all care about football. I went to the Bama Michigan game in Dallas this year and I haven't seen that attractive of a lady population at a football game outside of Tallahassee.

I told her I would go to the Bama vs. Tech game in Atlanta to start the year that way I could guarantee her that I would cheer for Alabama haha
