Kiser focused on two

Baltimore (Md.) Gilman linebacker Micah Kiser visited Virginia and Maryland over the course of the last week. Is an ACC border battle brewing for the four-star 'backer?

  • Jamie, do you think this is a 50/50 situation or do you think one of the two schools have an edge? It just difficult for me to believe that anyone would want to go to Maryland with everything we've been hearing and seeing for the past year. Kiser seems like wahoo material to me.

If everyone only settled for good enough... would anything ever really be good enough?

  • maybe I am a UVA snob...but i can't imagine sombody would pick maryland over an opportunity to get a degree from virginia...especially if football doesn't work out. throw on top of that the state of the two programs and the differences in quality of the coaching staffs .... and I would think its a no-brainer. maybe i am missing somthing but I think when you put it down on paper....the obvious choice is UVA.

Yeah well clearly we thought that way about Diggs too, and he obviously went with Marylad. I guess these guys really want to play for their home state, besides the abysmal state the program is in..

I think Diggs and Kiser are very different personalities. I think the academic side to UVa scared Diggs off a little. In Kiser's case, academics could be the deciding factor in favor of the hoos.
