Just a heads up ...

Those familiar with my work in the past, know that I loved writing the Inside Scoop/War Room. While receiving a 1,200 word article on a single day, was great for a lot of people, I have found that more people would like to get the news as it comes in. The mission of 247Sports is to keep the info flowing as it is available. So for now, when you see "Camp Confidential", "Roster Report" (for once the season starts), or "Recruiting Rumblings", treat it as a live update that was worthy of inclusion in my past columns; The WAR ROOM! and The Inside Scoop.
If you guys would like, we could compile all of the board updates (in these categories) weekly into a round-up to appease those who wish to wait.
Until we get the bugs ironed out on subscriptions, for the next few days, I am going to make all updates free on the message board.

The real-time updates are great. I also like the idea of the weekly Roundup. Personally, I will read both! :)

My addictive personality and 247Sports is going to get me canned... thank god I consult for the government - my non-productivity today still beats 95% of the people I consult for.

One problem with sitting on information until Friday is it could leak before then.

We are working on it. In the meantime, we will send the links on facebook and on twitter. If you are on the go, you can set up Wahoos247's twitter account to alert you. We have some great products in store for you guys, but right now, the timing of the releases is still being determined.

I won'r be living here once the Texas site is live but i can tell you not many things suck more than a Tuesday teaser and having to wait until Friday to hear about it.
Will text alerts for breaking news be part of the 247 package?
