Former No. 1 QB in Cville

Have heard from a good source that a former no 1, pro-style QB is visiting Charlottesville this weekend. Sam Bradford is apparently in town to gawk at girls in sundresses with his buddy Chris Long.

You sure it isn't Phillip Sims? He's also a former no.1 pro-style QB (coming out of HS).
Maybe there will be two of them in town.
Hell - maybe RG3 will be in town as well, but I guess he is no. 2 QB behind Luck.

Honestly, we should probably scrap the spring game and get a bunch of huge plots for the football team and recruits at foxfields. Can't think of any better recruiting tool than the mighty sun dress. Heard the weather is kind of crap though this year...

Oddly enough I think Bradford is the rare exception with QB Recruiting. IIRC, he was only a 3-star, which seems crazy now!

I was trying to come up with a really clever way of wording "pro-style" to tie it back to the draft rather than high school rankings, but my hangover-induced headache wouldn't let me. Either way Bradford and Long are in the Hook. Young, rich, famous, good-looking (according to my wife), and in Long's case being a local legend...not a bad way to pick up a girl or twelve in a college town during a big party weekend.

That sounds like the horse races by my house. I have heard first year, NOVA kids call it that, but nobody that has been in cville more than a year would call it that.

The name of the farm is Foxfield. The name of the event is the Foxfield Races. Nobody locally adds an S. The S has just magically appeared in the last 10 years by students who somehow feel they have the ability to re-name a Albemarle County tradition.
I think I'll start calling that grassy patch behind the Rotunda The Lawns.
