Well hopefully the students will have as much fun as I did when Isabel blew through 8 years ago (wow, has it really been that long?).

I have so many good stories from that night! And hopefully, Irene stays 200 miles off the coast and cranks out a nice ground swell for us. Everyone wins!

I didn't go anywhere near the Mad Bowl. I saw the shenanigans, but anyone who had any break of the skin ended up with an infection. Screw that! LOL!

Great I fly into the US for the first time in almost a year on Saturday afternoon... and into DC ... I guess it's better than flying into Charlotte?

All I remember from my time at HSC was that the ladies at the hitchin' post hooked us up with food right before it got bad and then we got hammered. We thought we had partied well into the night being as drunk as we were. Someone shined a flashlight on the clock...8:45 PM. Solid work from a solid crew.
Nothing like playing Kings with no electricity.

We had a Hurricane Date Function at the Fiji House that night. Swimming in Mad Bowl that night was insane. I woke the next day to find that a tree branch had smashed the through the top of my vehicle and I had a few inches of water in the floor board.
