  • No way there's any mal-practice involved under Edsall. The dude self-reported Fridge's practice violations.

That was to embarrass his predecessor.

Now that his job is on the line, he has Mr. Malpractice recruiting for him.

With Slugger Locksley and DUI Hill recruiting for the twerps, they have no ground to suggest they have any standards.

agreed, i think it's safe to say that Edsall is completely desperate and will do whatever it takes to keep his job.

  • Whenever a kid commits to his home state's school, there shouldn't be much reason for suspicion, even if it is Maryland.

I never thought Stefon was a UVa-caliber kid, in terms of his character. He's a great football player, but my gut tells me he's a red flag for off-the-field issues. I think Mike London is going to dodge the retention rate problems that Al Groh had. I could be wrong, but I think Diggs is one less off-the-field headache for the staff.

True, but werent there some rumblings questioning Eli Harold's character before he committed? I remember some people pointing out some of his rather obscene tweets...

Let's face it, we just flat lost to Maryland in the recruiting battles of Diggs and Wes Brown.. There's no need to chalk it up to anything, it is what it is, and I think we can all agree that pulling talent out of Maryland will now pose a huge challenge to Mike London and Co.

I don't think pulling talent out of Maryland will pose a huge challenge, because we have a better football program and a better school. Maryland definitely has upped their recruiting game, but they won't be posing a huge challenge unless they start winning football games and putting fans in the seats. Aside from the recent additions of their incoming class, the state of their football program is pretty sad.

I wonder how many MD recruits in the next couple years will be guaranteed Under Armour jobs for life.

Look for Fuller to follow next yr. They have already begun the snow job at Diggs announcement
with Fuller and his family and all partying.

Eli's tweets were all lyrics from rap songs. Just sayin.

And, with Diggs, he went to a school where his host for his OV ended up transferring out. There had to of been some BS stuff going on with the coaches that were after him. Because he simply could NOT get a good vibe from the players. It just could not have happened with everybody who left.

That's not even close to being a comparable situation - look at the attitudes surrounding each program at the time. Our commits all mentioned that they knew Coach London has his program going in the right direction - what glowing things have kids had to say about Edsall? We had only a handful of kids transfer after going 4-8 in London's first year - MD has had roughly 6,000 players leave its program since the end of the season. Mass exoduses like that should be a red flag to anybody that things aren't heading for greener pastures (though I guess with all of those departures, playing time opens WAY up as a selling point)
