I think it's an extremely close, competitive game. We usually play pretty well in Comcast. I think we finally put it all together, shoot well from 3, and beat the Terps 62-57
No way anybody can predict what will happen. We could lose Sunday but beat Miami next week. Nobody knows. It is what makes this team so frustrating for those with expectations of making the NCAA Tournament. I've enjoyed this season knowing that an NIT invite would be successful for a team this young and injured. It's going to be a crazy month. Buckle up.
56 - 47 Hoos.
I think the keys are going to be to frustrate Len with our post doubles and to slow down Dez Wells with a solid defensive effort from PJ, Justin, and Joe. Maryland doesn't force a lot of turnovers or shoot the 3 especially well, so if we can win those two individual match ups, take care of the ball, and get scoring from more than Joe and Akil, we should be able to win this one close, 56-50.
I'm going to be "that guy" and say 63-56 terps. I think we get off to a slow start and can't quite fully recover, but of course I'd love to be wrong.
I believe that the GT game was a watershed moment of this team. Against Wake and the first Clemson game the team came out flat and struggled to stay in the game throughout. There was a slight maturation against GT and the team thought they had the game won. They just didnt lock in the final 10 minutes. I feel this is the next phase in the evolution of this team. Winning on the road against MD. 65-49....
Two of their post players are slow and fat. We need to attack them.
And double Len on D.
60-57 Good guys!
My prediction: lots of obnoxious dudes wearing Drakar Noir, throwing batteries, screaming obscenities at women, wearing wife beaters and under armour. That's Maryland...
Hoos 60, Couch Burners 55
Generally, I'm not big on all these
If we haven't lost on the road to Clemson, GT and Wake, I would say I'd be more comfortable with a win. Let's hope this team is growing the way I think they are and their road games will have real chances to win them. Something in me says the Hoo's win today. 55-53.
WAHOO 4 LIFE!!
Unfortunately I think Maryland wins by 6 pts or so
Trim the fat off your soul.
