Statement from PSU ...
"The University of Virginia notified Penn State that it would not be playing the Sept. 14, 2013 game scheduled for Beaver Stadium in order to play a home game on that date. We are working with Virginia to re-schedule the game for Beaver Stadium in a future season. We have begun discussions to find an opponent for the Sept. 14 date and expect to make that announcement very soon."
Wait... they are saying we bailed out of the game? But we aren't playing a home game on that date. Didn't they already say they were playing UCF.
Our interim AD is an idiot who thinks people are stupid. I'd take his words with a giant grain of salt.
This. I'd really like an answer on it, Jamie
Look up one post from yours. Penn State poster weighs in.
That statement is BS. It makes it look like we were the ones that backed out, when that clearly was not the case. I hope the AD corrects his mistake, but I won't hold my breath.
I don't know about you guys, but I tend to believe PSU when it comes to the truth about things.
Also, our new tv spot
Coming to Scott Stadium this fall... the best home schedule in Virginia football history!

I guess it's possible. But his second sentence is clearly a lie, so I can't put much credibility in his first sentence.
So we supposedly "backed out" of playing PSU to go and schedule Oregon instead.? Logical I guess...
If a lie by PSU, I'd sure like someone official saying so. Because right now his quote is rampant on twitter making us look dishonorable.
*edited to say "dishonorable"*

How do we look like pussies for adding Oregon to the schedule no matter who dropped who?
OK that,s true. But I don't like being seen as the one who didn't meet contractual agreement. Honor is at stake here.
Hmm...sounds fishy...what better way to keep season tix high???
Joyner will never admit that he is a lying POS. Don't take it personally, he does it to everyone. Nobody likes him.
He and Debbie Yow must be buddies.

Here is an example of how he flatout lies. He needs to learn to just say that he cannot comment on certain things instead of just spewing BS.
ESPN and USA Today report O'Brien, the Patriots' offensive coordinator, is PSU's top coaching target.
