if you could pick UVAs intro song what would it be? post links to YouTube.
heres mine, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Kjh9lQXLWk , heard it this morning and got super excited for the season thinking about the team running out when the music kicks in at 1:00. makes my hair stand up. 4 months boys! 4 months!
Welcome to the REVOLUTION
Eh, it's been done. NY Giants use it. I want something unique.
If choosing an AC/DC song, I'd personally prefer Thunder Struck. Instead of the THUN-DER chant at the beginning everyone would be yelling WAH-HOOS!!
But that's just me.
Metallica's cover of "Ecstacy of Gold"
If got two right now.
Metallica For whom the bell tolls will lyrics so you can sing along.

Love both these songs. Don't like the idea of using Metallica so we aren't seen as copying our little brothers, but both those songs make me want to punch people in the face - so they're perfect!
Master of Puppets would be another good one.
Yeah I was thinking the same thing with Metallica but its just too good of a song not to throw out there.
Bulls on Parade - Rage Against the Machine
Let the Bodies Hit the Floor
I was thinking that we could do our own sort of combo starting with sound bites of clipse 'virginia' rolling into tool Jambi (start at the beginning and then skip to about minute 3.3 when the guitars pick up again. Not sure if clipse would make it past the admin as 90% of the lyrics are very thinly veiled drug references. Maybe youngbloods 'we don't give a damn'. I bet we will end up with some super played out 90s metal or some tired beyonce cover. By the way, 'Enter Sandman' to me is when Metallica really started selling out and was the transition from their raw, unstructured metal that really made the genre popular to more or less pop crap.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, DMX relocated early in his childhood with some family members to Yonkers, a suburb just outside of New York City. He spent much time either on the streets committing crime selling drugs or living in group homes. Hip-hop, however, was an escape from his hard times, as he enjoyed beatboxing, turntablism, and eventually rapping with famed rapper Just Ice. The initials DMX originate from an earlier stage name of Dark Man X.

I would go with Eminence Front by the Who. The beginning of that song get's me pumped, and it's old school.

Coheed and Cambria - Welcome Home. The first 1:00 of this song will make you find your nearest coworker and Office Linebacker Terry Tate their arse...
Soulja Boy - Crank That (Travis Barker Remix). This would be an AWESOME third down song. Make sure you can turn this up. Just watch T. Barker play and then go 300 Spartan kick the next hokie you see down a giant hole of death.
Welcome home by cohhed and cambria enjoy :)

Welcome to the Jungle- Guns n Roses
Why haven't we ever used the obvious "Who (Hoo) Are You?" by the Who, for at least part of the intro? It's tailor-made.

I'd go with this, have them wait to run out until the bass comes in.
the lyrics of the song Power by Kanye West :D
