Not sure if anyone has seen it but in Lunardi's newest bracketology released today, he lists us as the first team out of the tournament. It's amazing to think that we are in this type of position after the horrific ODU loss.
Keep winning and everything will take care of itself.

Agree but picking based on the averages We can beat anyone left on the schedule and and make an ncaa run. Crazy to say but we are damn good when hot. What I have liked over the last few games is that different people have stepped up. It tells me that when 80% of the team plays well we are very strong. However we have only had the vt road game during the win streak. Sunday will show whether this team has taken the step up we all hope.

I still have a hard time wrapping my head around needing atleast 11-12 ACC wins to get in. 11-12 conference wins used to mean a guaranteed top4 seed. 7 wins used to get you in or atleast on the bubble.....what the hell has happened.
At the end of the day I still think 10-11 ACC wins get us in, barring more inexcusable losses. Think some other bubble teams will slip up, and at the end of the day being one of the 4-5 best teams in the ACC warrants an at-large. One thing however, that I think will work against us is the pitiful performance last yr. I know it's not part of any criteria, but when you give one of those slots to a team and they go out and completely look out-classed, it's only natural to be weary of that team when they are in the same position the very next season.
I know man, it's crazy, isn't it?
But don't forget -- it's an 18-game schedule now, not a 16-game schedule. So 11-12 ACC wins used to mean an 11-5 or 12-4 record. Now it means an 11-7 or 12-6 record. Big difference, especially given how crappy some of the cellar-dwelling ACC teams are right now.
I still think 11 or 12 ACC wins should secure a tourney spot. But these things don't happen in a vacuum. We need to start seeing other bubble teams from other conferences go on losing jags.
