4-6, 4 runs scored, 7 RBI's, 2 2bs, 1 3b, 1HR (Grand Slam) and he would have hit for the cycle in his last at bat but he doubled and reached 3rd on an error instead.
Thanks for the update Joe... We are starting to Gel!

D-Fish is going to be the greatest hitter in UVA history. Mark my words.
I've been saying for 6 months, I don't think we've ever had anyone like him before. Jarret Parker compares but not this good this soon. The kid is a player. Straight up. So much fun to watch.
Amen and hallelujah. I can't gush about this freshman class of ballplayers enough. And we get two more years with them after this one. This is a core group of kids with whom we can eventually go to Omaha and do some real damage.
Very, very, very bullish on these five guys.
Yes, Fisher is ahead of Parker at the plate as a rookie. He is miles behind Parker in the field, but almost every player in the ACC in the past decade has been.
As far as the advanced level at the plate, Sean Doolittle was ready as a rookie (.313 AVG., 11 Homers, 57 RBI) and Mark Reynolds was in 2002 when he belted 15 homers, but he struck out over 50 times. Papi takes a lot of pitches, but he is solid out of the gate.
Not trying to crush the Fisher party, and agree he is a stud and will be an All-American, but he is hitting .300 (9 for 30) with three doubles, two triples, one homer and just three RBI in nine ACC games. Stay patient with Fisher as opposing teams get the scouting report on how to attack him in a Guyer-like fashion.
Cold water in the face!
But good points all around. Doolittle and Reynolds could both really rake.
The rest of this season will really be interesting with these two guys to see if they can get ahead and stay ahead of the scouting reports. I've still got my money on Fisher over the pitchers trying to attack him.
I really like how this team has responded after getting swept by FSU. Would be a huge step if they could take 2 out of 3 from NC State. It will be difficult, but if we can get the type of pitching we did last weekend we have a shot. Plus we owe NC State... they always seem to have our number.
Hey, I'll take 6 extra base hits in his first 9 ACC games!
I'd forgotten how good Doc was as a 1st year. Solid all around. I love that he just picked up a ball during knee rehab with the A's and now he's one of their top pitching prospects.
I don;t really get Fisher in the OF. Is it just the move out of Center or was this always an area that needed a lot of improvement? I don;t remember any knocks on him while reading his draft scouting reports.
Fisher will progress in left field and love that the coaching staff took that off his plate for now in ACC games. Playing all summer in left or right will help him mature even further against college-level bats.
