Whoever was taking intentional whacks at Joe's hand should be punished. That is seriously bad sportsmanship. Those
tar holes can't help but cheat every chance they get.

If players are hitting Joe's hand intentionally, call them out. Same as the foul calls against Scott and Mitchell. Unless you fight for what is right, nothing is going to get fixed by taking it game after game. When opposing players and officials are doing things that cheapens the game of basketball, CALL THEM OUT BY NAME. Let the guilty person justify his behavior.

I agree 100%, eneough is enough, the meek will inherit the earth but not the ACC title. Personaly I hope C Littlepage is addressing these semming discreptancies with the approiate ACC officials.

Bennett's not gonna call out players by name. Leave that kind of crap to Goonberg.

If your playing against an injured guy you best damn well make sure you exploit his injury to give your team every little bit of help that you can. It may not be very sportsman-like but its how games are played. It just sucks when its going against your own team.

Yes that block was one of the best blocks by a UVA player Ive ever seen, it was good timing, vs a big name player, on espn, and he sent that deep into the stands like you said. Loved it! Atkins has impressed with a few blocks recently also.

I talked to a VT fan, one of the alumni whos been a season ticket holder since 70s or in fb but he is a huge bball fan as well and hates Greenburg, he said they wont win until that guy is gone. He said they need a young defensive minded coach like TB. lol

When it first happened, Jay Williams, who was doing the color for the next game (Clemson) said "every time he takes it into the lane, his defender will rake his left hand to see whether he can deal with the pain.
He would have been taught that approach by Coach K (no surprise there). Whether other coaches instruct their players that way, I don't know.

In fairness to Jay Williams (and it does hurt to be fair to a Dukie), he said that he had a similar injury and that is what happened to him
