Seems like it's going to be a battle for everyone this year, both instate and out of state. Where are all of the UVA leans?

I think it explains why we seem to be casting such a wide net this year. I was hoping we were gaining traction in the state but right now it looks very tough for us this recruiting year. I do think we need someone besides Jim Reid working the Richmond area. He is the DC and I think we need a position guy along the lines of Chip West or Dex working Richmond. VPI has their ace super SEC wonder man recruiter working Richmond.

I guess the only silver lining here is that if there is one position where we can probably go light in this class, it's DE.
This class is more about need in my opinion. There are some big needs on the depth chart at LB, DT and RB and we really need to fill those.

Things look rough right now, but let's see where things stand a week from today. I don't think much has changed, regarding the outlook of the class. While we were excited about Allen early on, I don't think we've ever been the front runner there. I'm not worried about Harris. We'll get some good guys when all is said and done. I think it will be a class that had the potential to be amazing, and ended up being pretty good.

Not going to hold it against VT, but they did wait to offer....sounds like it does matter.
