Love the coverage. Wrestled in HS and wrestled HW for my Fraternity at UVa when I weighed 175. Great to see the teams success. Love to see the team in person if I could ever make it back to C'ville. Thanks Jay.

Nope, we're losing matches we won during the regular season. I hate to say it, but its Maryland's to lose now. We needed Sako to win the title and at least get a split with M. Nelson/Jedd Moore.

Yeah. He lost to the kid during the regular season but never should have. He was up 14-0 (15-0 is a tech fall) and got pinned. The kid threw him and pinned him. Sake should have destroyed everyone in the tourney this year. He was probably the guy I thought was a sure champion this year.

Wow. Sounds like a huge upset... Oh well, it's still a fun tournament to watch. My friend who is wrestling at UVA next year told me to watch it and I've enjoyed it so far.

would have been nice to get that ryan malo upset over the terp.
when did frats have wrestling teams? we would have stomped kids - granted there were a couple acc champs in mine.

Yeah, right now. I'd say Sako and Moore might get at large bids, but Jedd Moore wasn't very good today. We didn't wrestle nearly as good as we can. Probably should have done better at 133, 149, and 157. I think if Pap had wrestled at HWT he'd get second, but Hayes finished 3rd. That is the difference between what could have been a championship team and what's likely to be a runner-up/3rd place team.

Finished in second overall, with 3 individual ACC champs.. Finished ahead of tech.. Can't complain with those results!
