London talks Richmond

Mike London

On Thursday, Mike London held his final game week teleconference as the Cavaliers get ready to kick off the 2012 season against Richmond on Saturday.

London talked about coaching against his alma mater, where he played and coached, and the challenges in facing a team that has a new coach.

The UVa head coach also ran down Virginia's injury situation heading into the opener against the Spiders, most notably a pair of redshirt freshmen, defensive tackle Marco Jones and offensive tackle Tim Cwalina.

Cwalina was medically disqualified to play because of a heart condition, which will end his football career.

London did note that the Pittsburgh native will remain on scholarship and in school at Virginia.
