Practice No. 1 is in the books

Perry Jones

On Monday morning, the Virginia football team took to the fields outside of the McCue Center for the first time this spring. Wahoos247 was there for the action.

Last week, Mike London announced that as many as 15 players would miss spring practice due to recovering from off-season surgery. So, there were plenty of new faces in the starting rotation, like Anthony Harris and Rijo Walker lining up with the first team defense at safety.

There were also familiar faces at new positions, like former safety LoVante Battle at fullback and starting right tackle Morgan Moses, who is filling in for Oday Aboushi at left tackle.

What's the scoop on Virginia's first day of spring practice?
