Anderson and Boo Williams won both of their games on Wednesday.
Justin Anderson – The UVa commitment and his Boo Williams needed two wins today to keep their hopes alive and that's exactly what they did. In Game One on Wednesday, Anderson finished with 22 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 blocks, and 4 steals in Boo Williams' 89-84 double-overtime win over Louisiana Select.
Although Boo Williams secured its second win of the night over Indy Spiece, 68-64, Anderson had a relatively quiet night. The four-star forward scored 6 points, grabbed 4 boards, and had 2 blocks in the victory.
Boo Williams 2013 stars, point guard Anthony Barber and forward Troy Williams shined on Wednesday as well. Barber scored 28 and 17 points, while dishing 4 and 5 assists in the two games. Williams scored 15 and 13, while grabbing 5 and 6 rebounds in the wins.
James Robinson – The 2012 DeMatha point guard, who plays for Team Takeover, carried over his strong his play from Tuesday to Wednesday. In Game One, Robinson scored 11 points, grabbed 6 boards, had 7 assists, 1 block, and 3 steals. Team Takeover, however, fell to Georgia Stars, fell 62-61, in its first AAU loss in over a year.
In Game Two, Team Takeover rebounded with a 86-80 win over Houston Hoops and it was Robinson that led the way. In the victory, the DeMatha standout finished with 25 points, 6 assists, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals.
Team Takeover and DeMatha 2013 big man BeeJay Anya played better on Wednesday than he did on Tuesday, scoring 13 and 3 points, while adding 7 and 4 rebounds in the two games.
Mike Gesell – The South Sioux City guard was impressive in All-Iowa Attack's opening game win on Wednesday over Howard Pulley (Minnesota), 69-64. Gesell, scored 16 points and grabbed 9 rebounds, dished out 5 assists and had 3 steals.
All-Iowa Attack dropped its second game on Wednesday, this time to Mac Irvin Fire, 82-78. In defeat, Gesell scored 16 points and had 2 rebounds.
Terry Rozier – The 2012 Shaker Heights (Ohio) guard and his All Ohio Red teammates won their opening game on Wednesday over Arkansas Wings Elite, 59-51. Rozier was the star of the show, scoring 17 points, grabbing 4 rebounds, and dishing 3 assists.
Rozier and All-Ohio Red dropped Game Two on Wednesday but Rozier impressed once again. The 2012 point guard scored 26 points, grabbed 7 board, dished 5 assists, and had 2 steals in the loss to Georgia Stars, 85-68.
Madison Jones – The 2012 guard scored 5 points and dished 5 assists CP3's loss to Memphis YOMCA in Wednesday's early game, 73-59.
CP3 rebounded with a victory in Wednesday's night cap, defeating California Supreme, 93-82. Jones finished the game with 14 points, 9 assists, and a steal.
