Tony Bennett was in the giving mood. Following a masterful performance in the final stages of the second half, Virginia knocked off perennial power North Carolina, 61-52.

      That block in the first half by Justin Anderson was absolutely filthy. Just nasty. I watched it in the highlights about 10 times in a row. He stalked the guy down the court, then out-jumped him by half a body-length, THEN hung in the air MJ-style and crushed that shit back in his face. Sick...flex

    • Do we make the tournament if we go 11-7? That seems very realistic if we can take care of the teams we should beat (VT, GT, BC, Clemson, WF). ODU loss looms large, but I think we can make it to 11-7 in the ACC and probably better if we play consistently like we did last night.

      Without a doubt. If (and it's a big if) Jontel stays healthy and continues to play well, the selection committee will take into account that we did not have a point guard at all for two of the losses and didn't have our senior leader PG for the ODU loss.
