I was under the impression that EJ was being worked as the "slot" receiver in the 3-wide formations.

I'm thinking it sounds like Smith/Gamble at X, Jennings/Terrell in the slot, and Gooch/Severin at Z. Or some combination therein.
Maybe it's Terrell/Scott in the slot, and Gooch is the one that isn't in the two-deep.

That could be right. Is slot Y? I can't remember the naming convention for our receivers. What's X? Deep route guy? Z?
