On Tuesday, UVa safeties coach and special teams coach Anthony Poindexter spoke with the media to talk about both of his units as the team nears the season opener.

The UVa assistant said that although a starting kicker has not been named, a starting punter has.

In addition to talking about special teams, Poindexter discussed the situation at safety and which players are in the mix for playing time as the calendar speeds forward toward the Cavaliers' opener against Richmond.
